Home Tuition

The aim of Home Tuition is to provide your son /daughter with continuity in their education, until they are well enough to return to school.

Once the referral has been processed and a tutor becomes available, tuition can proceed.

The Home Tutor will make contact by phone or letter, in order to arrange a home visit. During this visit, plans will be made to arrange suitable teaching times and there will be an opportunity to discuss any concerns you may have in relation to your child’s education.

The tutor will also confirm details relating to your address and contact telephone numbers and will discuss home tuition regulations. These are guidelines, which aim to provide a safe, secure environment for your child, during the period of home tuition.

The visit will also provide an opportunity for the tutor to talk to your child, to find out which subjects they enjoy and to discuss any concerns they may have.

How Much Education will my child receive?
