How Will Work Be Organised?

Initially, the Head of Home Tuition will make contact with your son/daughter’s school to inform them that tuition is about to commence and to make a request for work.

The school will be asked to supply information about your child’s educational progress and current programmes of study.

In some instances, pupils may have been absent from school for a long period of time before receiving Home Tuition. It may therefore be necessary for the tutor to carry out an assessment in Numeracy and Literacy so that schoolwork can be modified to meet the needs of your child.

If your child has special needs, a copy of their Individual Educational Programme will be requested.
