KS1 & KS2 at The Bridge
Key Stage 1 Class Autumn Term
Our Key Stage 1 class have been been working hard in phonics and practising our pencil control. We have been having lots of fun finding different things to write in including rice, playdough and shaving foam.
We have been improving our addition and subtraction skills in Maths and using a number line to count on and count back.
We have been busying getting used to using a laptop and a tracker pad and enjoyed using Scratch Jr to program our own interactive stories.
In Theme we have been using colourful semantics to write some sentences about World War 1.
Our favourite game to play is UNO!

This is an excellent app for all the number operations as well as subitising and it is free on the White Rose website. This is an excellent resource for the 4 operations which underpin all maths areas.
