Parents / Carers
The school welcomes regular contact with parents and sees good communication between school and home as an essential part of the education process. An open door policy is in operation at Sandfield Park and parents are most welcome to contact the school at any time to discuss their child. Students have a home-school notebook and the facility to use DoJo which means that staff and parents are in contact daily and both parties are fully informed. We use the Evidence for Learning (EfL) Application which allows teachers to send out photographs, videos of your child's working in and outside of the school.
Each pupil has an annual review meeting and there is one Parent Evening during the school year. There is also a termly parents meeting held with Mr. Hilton (Headteacher) and parents are encouraged to take advantage of these opportunities to find out about their child's work and progress.
There are a number of informal activities throughout the year such as disco's, barbecues and other celebrations to which family and friends are welcome.
We are continually striving to foster closer links with the family and would encourage parents to participate and contribute to the life of the school.
Admission Arrangements
The admitting authority for Sandfield Park School is Liverpool City Council, as all our pupils have Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP's).

The School Office is open 40 hours per week from 8.00 a.m. until until 4.00 p.m. .

10:25 - 10:35 Pupil Mid – Morning Break
10:35 - 12:20 Teaching Session Two
12:20 - 13:20 LUNCH TIME
13:20 - 15:00 Registration/Teaching Session Three
15.00 End of School Day for Pupils
Assemblies:
Monday and Friday - 9.00 a.m. to 9.15 a.m.
In a typical week this equates to 33.75 hours
