Pupil Premium/Grants
The aim of Pupil Premium is to raise standards for young people who are disadvantaged. This additional funding will be allocated to individuals in order to improve attainment and breakdown barriers to accessing learning opportunities.
This funding is in addition to the school budget. It is important that the funding is used flexibly. It allows individuals to access external tuition, resources off site, and activities or initiatives designed to increase access to literacy and numeracy interventions or support personal development.
The fund allows additional curriculum opportunities for pupils both within and outside of school hours and ensuring pupils have equal access to the curriculum and afterschool activities.
The individual impact is measured using progress and attainment data.

- The school receives Department for Education funding in the amount of £4,285.00 for Year 7 ‘Catch-up Literacy and Numeracy’ to support interventions at the entry to Key Stage 3.
