Parents and Friends Association
Our Mission Statement is:
“To develop an effective partnership by promoting parent involvement and enhancing school communication and supporting teachers and staff.
To organise fun social opportunities for our children and families. Whilst raising funds to support our children’s education. Therefore supporting the school with specific projects”.
We organise raffles, sweepstakes, Christmas and Easter Bingo and help at the discos and bingo nights, which are very successful. All the monies raised go directly back to the children in school for extra curricular activities. This has involved contributing to the new Multi-Sensory and Immersive space, organising and funding for a farm to visit school, and paying for refreshments for school events.
We would really like to have as many parents as possible on board, many hands make light work! Even if you have an idea for an event which has worked well in another school or setting, but don’t want to be on the PFA, please let us know. You can be as involved as much or little as you like. We usually have a meeting which lasts about an hour every half term, which is during school time.
