CLASS S4
The staff: Mr Benson, Miss Brophy and Mr Grey
This year S4 are a mix of several classes from last year. Each pupil has settled really well, formed relationships and helped create an excellent classroom atmosphere. The transition for each pupil into this new class has been extremely smooth. This is made even more of an achievement considering the circumstances of this year and the changes they were faced with when returning to school.
S4 helped to form their own classroom rules and have been making a concentrated effort to successfully follow these. Each pupil has a positive role in the classroom and contributed to the help create a positive atmosphere. Even with an unprecedentedly long time off school, pupils have already started to make progress from where they were when last in school. They will continue to complete curriculum lessons focussing on life skills, as well as engaging, practical activities that will require deeper thought and will involve a different way of thinking. All lessons will be to help S4 pupils build up the skills that they will need to use outside of school.
Throughout the year, events, progress and skills will be tracked and showcased using the EFL app, the class dojo page and the school social media pages.

Homework Links
Mathletics - A maths website with interactive activities and a world-wide calculation challenge. New activities are set based on what area the pupils are focussing on in mathematics and these will automatically load up so that they are completed before accessing other areas of the website. Account login details can be taken home by pupils.
10ticks - 10ticks is a fun and engaging way to practise times tables and corresponding division facts, compete against pupils in class and around the world, as well as taking part in a variety of activities and games. Account login details can be taken home by pupils.
Espresso is something we have just this year got up and running. Details about this will be shared on here once it has started to be used across the school.
