9 of our pupils were chosen to represent Liverpool in a regional boccia tournament at Greenbank in February. This was a great achievement and they all put up "a good fight" on the day and one team narrowly missed getting into the semi-final (Tom, Joel, Idris and Isabel), and our other team won one of their games ( Shannon Emma, Janis, Kelsey, Jack W.) We were proud of all our pupils for reaching this round. Well done to all. Click link below to watch the Chinese New Year Assembly
Congratulations to the following pupils who have all been selected to represent MERSEYSIDE in the above tournament. This invite was a result of the 2 teams being finalists in the County competition back in November 2015.
Well done to them all and we wish them all the very best of luck, next Thursday 4th Feb. S2 Isabel S5 Kelsey 6T Tom, Janis, Shannon, Emma, Jack W. Sixth Form Joel, Idris Joel, Tom, Isabel and Idris will be representing the A Team. and Jack, Emma, Shannon, Kelsey and Janis will be representing the B Team. We participated in the RSPB Big Schools' Birdwatch to help the RSPB find out more about the birds in our school grounds. Our certificate is on display outside Reception. These are photographs from the 6th Form's production of 'Aladdin' at Christmas 2015. The pantomime was written and directed by Miss Reynolds and performed (to great reviews!) by the students and staff of the 6th Form, for the whole school and invited guests. It was such a success that lots of the audience asked us to do another pantomime next year (oh no they didn't!...oh yes they did!). The whole 6th Form contributed onstage and backstage to create a wonderful show. Well done to everyone who was involved! |
